Page: Wells Area Beaches ~ Crescent Beach
Off Route 1 in Wells take Mile Road or Eldridge Road to get to Crescent Beach. Near the end of Mile Road take a right on to Webhannet Road, travel down until your see the small seawall with an entry way to the beach. Parking is just beyond the beach entry, off Gold Ribbon Drive. From Eldridge Road route, look for Webhannet Road, take a left on to Webhannet and follow down past the large seawall to the parking area at Gold Ribbon Drive. The beach entrance is just beyond. No parking fee, no beach fee and
no life guards. There are portable bathrooms available only at this beach.
No places at Crescent Beach to eat so bring your cooler. You are
pretty much on your own at Crescent Beach, and when the tide is high Crescent
Beach is small. This is a good place to get some sun and relax if
you decide that you don't want to pay to park. This beach has fairly
limited parking so check the tides and get there
early.
